Spatia Comporta is a boutique resort is tucked away near the cool beach town of Comporta, on Portugal’s Atlantic coast.
We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast at Vermelho. Highlights included the array of Portuguese and French pastries that were brought to your table and the perfectly cooked a-la-carte eggs. Breakfast was delicious but also beautifully arranged, featuring tableware from Vida Dura.
Elisabeth Lincot's installation, Lagrima de Loros, graces an exterior hearth at Vermelho with glazed and colourful ceramic bird heads.
Spatia Comporta offers rooms and villas set in pristine woodland, blending naturally into their surroundings. All rooms have a large floor area of over 40 square metres, using glass and wood to create a smooth flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. There’s a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a bar and a shared lounge area.
