Artsy Cascais is a boutique hotel in Lisbon’s seaside town of Cascais. Located on Avenida Dom Carlos I, this hotel offers 19 uniquely decorated rooms featuring bespoke furnishings and original artworks.
Artsy is housed in a historic palacete, originally constructed in 1899, is complemented by a contemporary structure adorned with a facade by renowned Portuguese artist Vhils.
Artsy Cascais was conceived by Francisco Maria Balsemão, who transformed his family's summer house into this five-star boutique hotel. The interior design, led by Marta Carreira, incorporates elements from the local environment, reflecting the colours, textures, and natural beauty of the nearby beaches and Cascais' elegant charm. The hotel showcases artworks by artists such as Alice Morey, Daniel Lergon, João Gabriel, and João Vasco Paiva, as well as Fipsi Seilern’s reinterpretation of a Rembrandt self-portrait.
Other highlights include the heated rooftop pool, the Library Bar, and the Art Restaurante, which features a menu crafted by Chef Daniel Estriga, with a focus on locally sourced ingredients.
