Casas de Arroz comprises four architect-designed 'huts' in Comporta that can be rented independently or together.
We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast at Vermelho. Highlights included the array of Portuguese and French pastries that were brought to your table and the perfectly cooked a-la-carte eggs. Breakfast was delicious but also beautifully arranged, featuring tableware from Vida Dura.
Elisabeth Lincot's installation, Lagrima de Loros, graces an exterior hearth at Vermelho with glazed and colourful ceramic bird heads.
Casas de Arroz offers a peaceful refuge in the village of Possanco, just a few minutes from Comporta's famous beach and picturesque port.
There are four independent cabins that overlook the rice fields and meadows, with an infinity pool and a white sand garden. The cabins are made of traditional masonry, thatch, and local wood, paying tribute to the fishing huts of Comporta. The rooms are sunny, comfortable, and open to the outside, with individual terraces.
Accommodating between two and four people, these cabins can be rented together or separately, making them perfect for a family or friends' holiday.
