Quinta da Côrte is a boutique hotel set in a historic Douro estate purchased by French owner Philippe Austruy in 2013 that has undergone extensive renovation.
Designed by renowned architect and interior designer Pierre Yovanovitch, each of the eight rooms at Quinta da Côrte has been carefully designed to offer a balanced blend of luxury and simplicity. The rooms feature embroidered metis bed linen, designer rugs, and bathrooms lined entirely with delicately-toned Portuguese artisanal earthenware tiles. The walls are adorned with paintings, lithographs, and pastels, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Four rooms are in the main house, while the other four are in the surrounding buildings, each offering breathtaking views of the valley.
The estate produces high-quality wines, including Port, made from its old vines, and offers daily wine tastings. The hotel also offers a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, and a terrace.
