We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast at Vermelho. Highlights included the array of Portuguese and French pastries that were brought to your table and the perfectly cooked a-la-carte eggs. Breakfast was delicious but also beautifully arranged, featuring tableware from Vida Dura.
Elisabeth Lincot's installation, Lagrima de Loros, graces an exterior hearth at Vermelho with glazed and colourful ceramic bird heads.

The houses have been restored to maintain their original structure and design, with the perfect mix of traditional and modern architecture, and each has its unique special character. It includes Casa do Feitor with five double rooms and a suite, Casa do Laranjal with five double rooms, Balões with two large suites, Casa Romântica, Casa dos Cardanhos with seven double superior rooms, Casa do Rio, and Casa Grande with six superior double rooms and a private infinity pool over the river.
The hotel's restaurant, Cantina de Ventozelo, uses ingredients produced at the Quinta and from other regional producers. Ventozelo also offers a range of activities, including walking circuits, wine tastings and nature observation.
