We want to inspire you in discovering all sides of Porto, from the 5 bars to drink like a local to the city’s 5 quirkiest sights. It is an intimate travel guide to all that Porto has to offer, from places off the beaten track to the most happening hotspots. In March 2020, as we were finalising the photography and writing of the book, the Covid-19 pandemic struck the world. We then agreed with our publishers that it was best to delay the release date. Unfortunately, a few of the places that we had originally written about haven't been able to survive the lockdowns. We have fully revised the book just now before going to print, and we’re not going to lie - it’s been quite emotional re-reading it all.
We hope that the immense love and dedication that has been put into this travel guide will, in some small way, help Porto 💙 come back to the best version of itself soon.
